The Boone Toreadors fell to Western Dubuque on Friday Night 3-1 in the 4A State Softball Championship game. The Toreadors led early after a groundout by Laena Solverson scored Emily Ades from 3rd base. Western Dubuque was able to score single tallies in the 2nd inning, 3rd and 5th and the Toreadors offense was only able to muster 4 hits all night. Boone finishes their season 28-9 and had 3 players make the All Tournament Team: Zoey Hightshoe, Emma Dighton and Emily Ades. Below are some sights from the 4A title game.
