BOONE, Iowa—Boone Public Works announced today that the planned closure of 5-Mile Driver, between South Linn Street and South Delaware Streets will be delayed until possibly next week. The street was expected to be closed during the day because of utility work associated with ongoing construction. The street closure was to have been from 7:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Again, the Boone Public Works Department has postponed the announced closing of 5-Mile Drive between South Linn Street and South Delaware Street at the request of the contractor.
