On Friday at 10:00am will be the 90th commencement exercises at the Boone Campus of the Des Moines Area Community College. More than 200 students will be crossing the stage. A reception will follow immediately after the commencement in the LW Courter Center. DMACC Boone Campus Liberal Arts Student Aubry Schmitt of West Burlington will give the welcome, and former Des Moines Mayor Preston Daniels will deliver the commencement address. DMACC Boone Campus Provost Drew Nelson will preside over the activities. A nurse pinning ceremony will take place in the Boone Campus Auditorium following commencement.
