The commencement speaker at the 91st DMACC Boone Campus Commencement was John Courter, the Clerk of Court for the United States District Court for the Southern District of Iowa. His mother, Sally Courter continues to serve on the DMACC Boone Campus Foundation and his father, the late Lloyd Courter was a long time member of the Board of Directors. The Boone Campus Student Center, the L.W. Courter Center is named after him.
