Ledges Annual Public Meeting in Boone Thursday Evening

BOONE, Iowa—The staff of the Department of Natural Resources at the Ledges State Park will host their annual public meeting on this evening at the Boone City Hall Auditorium, 923 8th Street, Boone, Iowa.  Doors will open at 6:00 PM and the presentation will start at 6:30 PM. The presentation will focus on communicating a better understanding of park services and why Ledges is such a unique destination. Those that attend will find out about the great partnerships and events from 2017 and will receive detailed updates on the 2018 projects. There’ll also be an opportunity to hear about the great volunteer group, Friends of the Ledges.

If you are unable to attend this meeting, another opportunity to connect will be available on Thursday, February 15th at 6:30 PM.  At 1515 P Avenue; Madrid, IA 50156 (the Ledges park office) the Friends of the Ledges will be holding their first monthly meeting of 2018. New members and ideas are always encouraged and you are welcome to attend and contribute.
