BOONE, Iowa—A funeral service has been set for 88-year old Luvern Baker of Boone, Iowa.  The service will be held Friday, March 9, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the Augustana Lutheran Church in Boone, Iowa.  Burial will be held in the Linwood Park Cemetery, Boone, Iowa.  Military Honors will be conducted by the Boone Veterans Council.

Visitation will be held at the Schroeder-Reimers Memorial Chapel at Sixth and Marshall Streets on Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.  The family will be present and the Memorial Chapel, Thursday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Visitation Friday will be held at the Augustana Lutheran Church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 10:00 a.m.

In memory of Luvern, memorials may be directed to Augustana Lutheran Church.
