GoodBYE, June

Posted on 01 July 2018 by KWBG

According to the Boone Water Environment Weather Station, we picked up 2.3 inches of rain Saturday afternoon into Sunday morning.  So we can close the books on June.  From 8:00 Friday morning June 1st, until 8 a.m. Sunday the first of July, Boone County received well over a foot of rain – 13.72 inches.  That is more precipitation than we got in the previous seven months (November through May) combined and the most in a month since 16 1/2 inches of rain fell in July of 1993, the year of The Great Flood.  You can see all this and more under the “Weather” tab; just click on “Weather Archives.”
