According to the Boone Water Environment Weather Station, we picked up 2.3 inches of rain Saturday afternoon into Sunday morning. So we can close the books on June. From 8:00 Friday morning June 1st, until 8 a.m. Sunday the first of July, Boone County received well over a foot of rain – 13.72 inches. That is more precipitation than we got in the previous seven months (November through May) combined and the most in a month since 16 1/2 inches of rain fell in July of 1993, the year of The Great Flood.
