High rainfall totals have caused flooding of the Des Moines River and high lake levels at Saylorville Reservoir. This flooding has had significant impact on Ledges State Park. Therefore, the Iowa DOT has given approval for re-routing the route for RAGBRAI on July 24th. Riders will now leave Boone, eastbound on US Highway 30 and ride approximately 1 mile, turning south on Quill Avenue, where they will be traveling about 3 miles to meet up with the original route.
