STRATFORD, Iowa—A funeral service has been set for 61-year old Monte Westrum of rural Stratford, Iowa.  The service will be held Friday, August 3, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at the Schroeder-Reimers Memorial Chapel at Sixth and Marshall Streets, Boone, Iowa.  Following the service, Monte’s body will be cremated.  A private graveside service and burial of his cremated remains will be held in the South Marion Cemetery, southeast of Stratford, Iowa.

Visitation will be held at the Schroeder-Reimers Memorial Chapel at Sixth and Marshall Streets in Boone, Thursday from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.  The family will be present and will receive friends at the Chapel Thursday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Friday visitation will continue at the funeral chapel from 8:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 10:30 a.m.
