Jim McPartland has been selected to coach in the Iowa Girls Coaches Association All-Star Basketball Game. Coach McPartland is one of only 12 coaches from across the state, and one of only two coaches from class 4A, to coach in the event. The IGCA All-Star Game is the premier event of its kind in the state, honoring 120 senior athletes from across the state, and is affiliated with the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union. Coach McPartland will be involved with the selection of the players from class 4A that will participate in the game on January 6th in West Des Moines. The game itself will take place on April 6th in Cedar Rapids at Kirkwood Community College. Coach McPartland will run a practice in the morning and then coach an all-star team later in the day.
