BOONE, Iowa—Boone County Attorney Daniel Kolacia withstood a challenge during the Tuesday General Election and has defeated Stephen J. Swanson for a second time. The unofficial results have Kolacia with 6,122 votes to 5,582 for Swanson. Kolacia received over 52% of the vote Tuesday to just under 48% for Swanson. The percentage is similar to the race four years ago when Kolacia was the winner with 5328 votes to 4,844 for Swanson. Again just over 52% for Kolacia to just under 48% for Swanson.
