OGDEN, Iowa—A funeral service has been set for 73-year old BG (Ret) John Tymeson of Ogden, Iowa.  The service will be held Monday, January 7, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, 703 Greene Street, Boone, Iowa.  Interment with full military honors will be held at the Iowa Veterans Cemetery, Monday at 12:30 p.m.

Visitation will be held at the Schroeder-Stark-Welin Funeral Home at 609 7th Street, Boone, Iowa on Sunday, January 6, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.  The family will be present and will receive friends at the Funeral Home at that time.

In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be given to Mary Greeley Hospice or the First Presbyterian Church. The family wishes to extend sincere appreciation to all the wonderful professionals at the Mary Greeley Hospice and the William Bliss Cancer Center at Mary Greeley Medical Center.
