Boone County Special Passport Event Set for February 9th

KWBG 02/02/19

BOONE, Iowa—The Boone County Planning and Development Department will be holding a special passport event on Saturday February 9, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon.  This special Saturday event will allow passport applicants to file their passport applications without having to take time off or get the kids out of school during the work week.  No appointment is necessary, photo services are available while you wait and extra personnel will be on hand to assist in making your application quick and easy.  Mike Salati, Boone County Planning and Development has said that the Saturday special passport events have proven very successful, drawing people from surrounding counties and even from out of state.

Customers having to renew their passport can bring their application to be reviewed and assembled for mailing free of charge.  Visit www.travel.state.gov for information and applications that are available to fill out online, print off and bring with you to save even more time.

Call the Boone County Planning and Development Office at 515-433-0550 for answers to your questions.
