BOONE, Iowa—Boone Community Theatre will present the Tom Jones and Harvey Schmidt Broadway hit, The Fantasticks February 28, March 1, 2, 7 and 8 at TK’s Event Center in Boone.
The musical allegory will be presented with dinner beginning at 6 pm followed by a 7 pm show. John Greiner of Boone’s Whistle Stop Restaurant will cater the meal. Seats are $35 per person. Some show-only seats may be available for this weekend and next for $15 per adult and $7.50 per student. Seating will be available on a first-come, first-served basis at the door beginning at 6:30 pm each performance date. TK’s Event Center is located at 1805 Mamie Eisenhower St.
Susan Herrick is directing the show with Pamela Webster serving as Music Director. Orchestra members are David Howell (pianist),Katie Quandt (harpist), Ryan Kokjohn (bass player). Cast members are Sharla Charlton (The Mute), Michele Jacobson (Hucklebee), Christopher Levi (El Gallo), Gershom Levi (Mortimer), David Michael (Bellomy), Abigail Zahn (Luisa), Bryan Zahn (Matt), and Drew Zahn (Henry).
