Two Injured In Early Morning Fire

BOONE, Iowa—Boone fire fighters were on the scene early Monday morning in the 1100-block of West Fourth Street for a house fire that sent two-people to the Boone County Hospital.  Fire Chief Justin Adams says fire fighters responded to the call at 4:25 a.m. Two-unidentified people were taken by ambulance to the Boone County Hospital and there has been no update on their condition.  Fire fighters were seeking out hot spots about 6:00 a.m.  The cause of the fire has not been determined and it’s not known if the house at working smoke detectors.

Fire fighters were being assisted at the scene by Boone County Search and Rescue, Boone County Hospital-Ambulance and the Boone Police Department and Boone County Sheriff’s Department.
