BOONE, Iowa—The Boone County Fairgrounds will once again play host to the Mid-Iowa Council of the Boy Scouts of America for their Spring Railroad Camporee. Over 1,000 scouts and staff will gather at the Fairgrounds Friday and will be here until Sunday. Participants will camp on the grounds, work at earning their railroad merit badge, ride the Boone and Scenic Valley Railroad and participate in other scouting activities. The Railroad Camporee is held rain or shine.
