BOONE, Iowa—Heart of Iowa Habitat for Humanity is pleased to introduce Lindsay Lynch as Associate Director.
Working from Habitat’s office in downtown Boone, Lindsay will have primary responsibility for leading volunteers and donors serving Boone County families in need of safe, healthy and affordable housing. She will also serve as a communications and recruitment specialist, utilizing her extensive education and training in those areas.
Lindsay attained her Bachelor’s Degree in Corporate Communications from Morningside College in Sioux City, before completing her Master’s Degree in Organizational Management from Buena Vista University, Storm Lake, in 2018. Her advanced degree was attained while employed full time with Buena Vista University, first as Admissions Counselor, progressing to Senior Admissions Counselor, and finally as Assistant Director of Admissions, a position she served until accepting the call to Habitat for Humanity.
Married to Dan Lynch, a Boone police officer and life-long resident, their young daughter, Elena, recently celebrated her first birthday.
While Boone is certainly a distance from her hometown of Le Mars, Iowa, Lindsay and her family enjoy the comforts of small town living and look forward to becoming more engaged in the local community through her position with Habitat for Humanity.
The public is invited to join in welcoming Lindsay Lynch to Heart of Iowa Habitat for Humanity at a meet-and-greet reception Tuesday, July 23, from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m. at the Habitat for Humanity office, 720 Story Street, Boone.
Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit Christian ministry dedicated to eliminating substandard and poverty housing. All persons are welcome as partner families and volunteers regardless of religious beliefs or affiliations.
