Fly Iowa is coming to the Boone Municipal Airport Saturday, August 3rd from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The event kicks off with a “Fly-In” pancake breakfast at the National Guard Armory from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. The Vendor area will showcase a number of local businesses and also include food trucks serving meals from 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. There will even be an opportunity to take a ride over the city of Boone and the Des Moines River Valley with Ride the Sky Helicopters. There is no admission fee to attend Fly Iowa and the site boasts plenty of hard surface parking.
