BOONE, Iowa—Stecker Concrete has begun site preparation on the Green Space at 8th and Story Streets. Stecker Concrete was the successful bidder for the project which will include the concrete work, sidewalks, some work on the adjacent city sidewalk, the center site and concrete work for the proposed stage area on the west end. City staff have already moved the electrical service with equipment donated by Boone Rental.
