BOONE, Iowa—A 32-year old Boone man, Ryan Carlson has died as a result of a single vehicle accident that occurred Wednesday morning in southern Webster County.  The Iowa State Patrol report that accident occurred a little after 7:00 on 330th Street and Xavier Avenue in Webster County, north of Stratford and west of the Des Moines River.

The report from the Iowa State Patrol indicates that Carlson’s pickup failed to make a curve in the road, crossed the center line and went through a cable barrier, down and embankment, striking multiple trees and finally coming to a rest against a tree.

Multiple agencies responded to the scene including Stratford Fire and Emergency Services, Webster County Sheriff’s Department, Hamilton County Sheriff’s Department and the Dayton Police Department.
