BOONE, Iowa—Emily McCarty is the newest member of the Boone County Hospital Board of Trustees. She replaces Keith Kudej who stepped down after 25 years of service to the BCH Board.
Emily is a life-long resident of Madrid and is married to Aaron. They have two children ages 3 and 7. Emily is a lawyer and practices employment law at Timmer and Judkins, a law firm in West Des Moines. She has worked there for 10 years. Emily is an advocate of local access to healthcare, and looks forward to continuing to ensure that access through her work on the Hospital Board of Trustees.
Kudej represented the Madrid and brought a lot of useful information to the board during his tenure as the Director for the Madrid Home.
