BOONE, Iowa—Unseasonably pleasant weather conditions helped draw hundreds to downtown Boone for the annual Holiday Lighted Parade and Tree Lighting Ceremony. The event, hosted by the Boone County Chamber of Commerce had people lining Story Street and keeping the Salvation Army’s Canteen, set up at 8th and Story a very busy place.
