BOONE, Iowa—Senator Bernie Sanders paid a visit to Boone Sunday, as the calendar moves to 4-weeks to go until the Iowa Caucuses. Sanders drew nearly 500 to the Fareway Events Center at Cobblestone Inn and Suites. Sanders began by letting the audience bring up talking points before he moved in presentations on the economy, education, the environment and his plan for Medicare for all. Following the event, a number of those attending did head out to canvas the county seeking support for Sanders during the upcoming caucuses.
