BOONE, Iowa—Former South Bend Mayor and Democratic Presidential Candidate Pete Buttigieg drew a nice early afternoon turnout Monday at the Community Building on the Boone County Fairgrounds. Buttigieg delivered a few remarks and then responded to questions ranging from women’s rights to climate change to Medicare and health care issues. As a candidate he’s been able to remain in the top tier of candidates. He says the successful Democratic Candidates have been relatively new on the scene, spent limited or not time in Washington and has led a new generation. Buttigieg says the bottom line question caucus goers or voters need to ask when choosing their candidate is “How is my life going to be better?”
