BOONE, Iowa—After starting as a paid on call member of the Boone Fire Department, Casey Peterson was sworn in as the newest full-time member of the Department during Monday’s City Council meeting. Peterson had already completed training as a paramedic and has been working as a member of the Urbandale Fire Department.
