Monday evening, Casey Petersen was sworn in as a full-time firefighter with the Boone Fire Department. Casey started at the Fire Department in 2016 as a paid on call firefighter and then promoted to part-time firefighter/EMT. Casey had his badge pinned by his wife and son.
