BOONE, Iowa—On March 9th, 2020 at the regular meeting of the Boone County Conservation Board, the Boy Scouts of America Prairie Winds District Program Chair., Barry Romitti, presented Boone County Conservation Naturalist/Park Ranger, Katie Healy with the 2019 “Spirit of Scouting” Support Award. Katie has been recognized for her outstanding service to the Prairie Winds District for her role in helping with various scouting events, advising scouts as they pursue merit badges, and her overall contributions to the scouting community in Boone County.
