Local business owners are helping with local efforts to provide home made facemasks for Healthcare

Kathi and Roger Stirling of Something for You Boone Iowa have been providing free fabric for those willing and able to sew. In accordance with the governor’s proclamation, their store on Story Street is now temporarily closed. However, they are still providing fabric for those who would like to help.

Completed masks may be dropped off at Boone County Emergency Management at 909 West Mamie in Boone, Monday through Friday. Please call prior to drop off to make sure someone is there to receive it  (515) 433-0592

Something for You Boone, Iowa is not charging for fabric for masks, but if you would like to make a donation towards materials costs, that would be accepted.
