Personal masks for those who don’t sew

Posted on 03 April 2020 by KWBG

With speculation of a presidential recommendation to wear masks, and some entities already requiring masks before entry will be allowed, those who don’t sew may wonder how they can prepare.

In addition to providing fabric for sewn masks for the health care providers in Boone, Kathi and Roger Stirling of Something for You, Boone Iowa are also providing material for a no-sew version of cloth face masks.  It’s referred to as a bandana mask.

To make arrangments to pick up free fabric for these personal use masks, please contact Kathi at 515-230-3968.  While there is no charge for this fabric, perhaps you would consider making a donation to help offset expenses.

Below, please see a video of Kathi demonstrating how simple it is to make a personal mask.
