Boone, IA – At the Monday, April 6, 2020 Boone City Council Meeting, the council took action to prohibit open burning in the City of Boone until further notice due to concern for potential respiratory compromise during the Corona pandemic. City council will review this at their May 18, 2020 council meeting. Typically, open burning within the Boone City limits would have been from April 15 to May 15.
