DAWSON, Iowa—The Iowa State Patrol has released additional information on the fatal accident that occurred about 11:30 Tuesday morning between Dawson and Jamaica near the Dallas and Guthrie County line.  According to the report a van was being driven by 16-year old Micheal Marie Crane of Perry.  The van crossed a bridge and apparently went out of control, leaving the road and striking a field drive before coming to a rest.  Two minor occupants, 5-year old Claire Brown and 10-year old Lindsay Brown of Perry died as a result of injuries sustained in the crash.  7-year old Eli Brown and 11-year old Katelyn Brown, both of Perry were taken to Blank Children’s Hospital.  11-year old Randy Seratt of Dawson and 5-year old Carter West of Dawson were also injured.  The accident investigation by the Iowa State Patrol is continuing.
