According to the Boone Water Environment Weather Station, our county received 1.02 inches of rain in the twenty-four hours ending at 8:00 Sunday morning. That is the largest one-day rainfall in almost seven months. On October 21 of last year, we picked up 1.39 inches. This weekend’s rain is more than Boone County got in all of April and we haven’t had a yearly total (7.24”) that low on this date since we were at 3.71 inches in 2000.
