BOONE, Iowa—The James H. Andrew Railroad Museum and History Center now features the new “Electric Railroads of Iowa” exhibit. Mike Wendel developed the exhibit which is now open to the public for viewing. This week, Wendel was a guest on the KWBG Tuned In program and said that several historic presentation planned earlier this year had to be cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic. One of those featured Wes Bender, Interurban Motorman and Railroad Transit Historian. Wendel says they have been able to put together an online presentation from Bender, which will be done in two parts. The first will be this Saturday afternoon at 2:00. Wendel says those that are interested in taking part can get connection information by contacting mike@bsvrr.com.
