Welcome Train Update

BOONE, Iowa—The Boone Rotary Clubs Welcome Train Project is proceeding slowly today.  There was a delay in loading the passenger car for transport to it’s new home on the south side of the city.  Loading at the Boone and Scenic Valley Railroad actually began over the noon hour.  The tender is also expected to be load on a second transport vehicle and the two will then begin the journey through town.  KWBG will continue to provide updated information as it’s made available.
