BOONE, Iowa—Crews continue to perform maintenance on the Union Pacific Railroad line through Boone and city officials report there will be added inconvenience due to the closing of crossings over the weekend. The current plan calls for the Marion Street crossing to be closed Saturday, August 8th to Monday, August 10th. Crossings at Division, Crawford and Greene Streets will be closed Sunday, August 9th. The crossing at Story Street is slated to be closed on Monday, August 10th.
Story and Division Street crossings are scheduled to be reopened on Tuesday, August 11th, but Crawford and Greene Street crossings are not expected to reopen until August 18th or 19th.
