From Boone County Emergency Management:
With the lack of power in many areas of the county, there are a few places that are offering heat relief stations:
- The Boone City Hall auditorium will be open from 8 to 3 on Thursday and 8 to 5 on Friday
- Cornerstone Church in Boone will be available from 9 to noon, and 1 to 5 on both Friday and Saturday.
- United Methodist Church in Ogden will be open Friday and Saturday from 9 to 4, and normal services on Sunday
Social distancing practices will be followed and it is requested that you wear a mask if possible.
