Boone City Utility Drop Off Unavailable Due to Construction

BOONE, Iowa—Quite a few Boone residents use the utility bill drop off, located in the alley on the east side of city hall.  That service will not be available for a couple of weeks while contractors move forward with a city project to deal with drainage of storm water in the alley.  Over the past couple of year, water has ponded and started to encroach on the City Hall structure.  For those that use the utility bill drop off, you are asked to please mail your payment or bring it in to the city hall utility office.  It’s hoped that the work will be completed within a couple of weeks, weather permitting.
