Derecho Debris Removal

BOONE, Iowa—Boone Public Works Director John Rouse told the City Council Monday that the derecho storm debris, that had been piled in the city owned detention basin north of 22nd Street, has been ground up and will now be hauled away over the next several days.  He said the contractor expects to be completed so their employees will be departing before Thanksgiving.
