Boone, Iowa—A funeral service has been set for 78 year old William “Bill” Bishop of Boone, Iowa.  He passed away Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames, Iowa with his wife Sandi by his side.  The funeral service will be held Saturday, December 5, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church, 703 Arden Street, Boone, Iowa.  Masks are required and social distancing will be in place at the service.  Burial will be in Squire-Boone Cemetery of rural Boone County.

Visitation will be held at the Schroeder-Reimers Memorial Chapel at Sixth and Marshall Streets in Boone, Friday afternoon and evening from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
