BOONE, Iowa—Funeral arrangements are being set for 75 year old Susan Elizabeth (Elbert) Brown of Boone, Iowa. Susan, a retired special education teacher, passed away Sunday, December 6, 2020 at MercyOne Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa of complications from an October surgery. There will be no services at this time. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Burial will be held in the Linwood Park Cemetery, Boone, Iowa.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to the Augustana Lutheran Church in Boone or the Festival of Hope and the Hope Foundation.
