GRAND JUNCTION, Iowa—A 46 year old Grand Junction man, Travis Fincel has been hospitalized at Iowa Methodist Hospital in Des Moines, after he was struck by a truck on a street in Grand Junction.  The Iowa State Patrol reports that the accident occurred shortly after 8:00 Tuesday evening, when a vehicle, operated by 72 year old Robert Kinnick of Grand Junction, was traveling north on 16th Street North in Grand Junction.  Fincel was walking north at the time of the accident.  Fincel was transported by Life Flight to Iowa Methodist Hospital with life threatening injuries.  Kinnick was not injured in the accident.  According to the Iowa State Patrol report the accident remains under investigation.
