BOONE, Iowa—The Boone County Hospital announced this morning that the COVID vaccine time slots in Boone County are full for the first clinic. In a statement released late this morning “We are sorry if you were not able to get through to make an appointment. Unfortunately, we are receiving small quantities of vaccine from the State and we can only fill a small number of slots for each clinic.”
Boone County Public Health will receive a designated allotment of vaccine from the State each week. On Wednesday at 8:00 a.m. each week, the COVID vaccine line will open for people to schedule an appointment for an upcoming vaccination clinic. If all appointments are full, please continue to check back weekly on Wednesdays starting at 8:00 a.m. as new appointments will be opened as we receive more vaccine doses from the State. The number to schedule your COVID vaccine is (515) 433-8299 (VAXX).
