BOONE, Iowa—Funeral arrangements are being planned for 52 year old Tamra Sue Slight formerly of Boone, Iowa.  She passed away at Mercy One Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa on February 10, 2021.

Tami was born on July 6, 1968 to Lyndon and Susan Slight at the Boone County Hospital. She graduated from Boone High School in 1986 and went on to get her CNA from DMACC.

Tami enjoyed gardening, fishing and spending time with her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her father, Lyndon Slight.

She leaves behind her daughter, Mollie Frazier; mother, Susan Slight; twin brother, John Slight; older brother, Michael (Brenda) Slight; aunts: Barbara Butler and Dixie Slight; nieces: Maddy (Tyler) Wisecup, Makenna Slight, Emma Slight, and Dianna Slight; nephews: Joseph Slight and Brett Slight; good friends Barb Pittman and Jim Grace; and her beloved dog, Lucy.

A private family service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
