Boone County Property Valuations on the Increase Again

BOONE, Iowa—Two years ago, many Boone County residents were upset with increases in valuations on their property.  Paul Overton, Boone County Assessor said the changes were driven by the sale and purchase of property.  The trend hasn’t changed.  Overton will be the guest on the KWBG News/Public Affairs Program “Tuned In” Wednesday morning and will talk about the new valuations people will see in April.  “Tuned In” airs following the news, weather and market information at 8:30 a.m. on KWBG.
