BOONE, Iowa—Changes at the Boone County Landfill have led to changes in the list of items taken free of charge during the planned Boone City Wide Clean-up in June. The city will no longer take televisions, computer monitors or computer towers. They are now considered appliances at the landfill and there will be an associated charge. The landfill began considering electronics, including televisions and monitors as appliances and have an associated charge for recycling.
