DES MOINES, Iowa—The National Weather Service office in Des Moines did make available the U.S. Drought Monitor report from earlier this week. The report shows that earlier in the week, Boone County was still split by moderate drought to abnormally dry conditions. The U.S. Drought Monitor was released on Tuesday.
