Ben finished 3rd in state singles this weekend and finished his season with a 30-7
record. All 7 of those losses came to players who finished their seasons at the
state tournament. Ben with only 2 years of varsity because of Covid-19 finishes his
Boone Career at 60-13. Ben has been a pleasure to coach!
The team of McPartland/Zehr finished 8th in state doubles this weekend and
finished their season with a 19-10 record. All of their losses came to state
qualifiers as well. I am proud of the effort and grit these two showed throughout
the season.
Boone tennis had an amazing season finishing 10-2 and a state qualifier for the 6th
straight year. This team started with many goals this season and accomplished all
but 1 of them! I could not be more proud of my team this season in my third year
as a head coach. We lose 5 of the top 6 as they are seniors but they will forever be
a part of Boone Tennis! It has been my honor to lead these young men. (Coach Hammen)
