Boone County Fair Parade, Thursday Afternoon at 5:30, Kris Kline Parade Marshall

KWBG 07/06/21

BOONE, Iowa—The Boone County Fair Parade is on Thursday, July 15, 2021 at 5:30pm. The Parade will proceed on 8th Street, north on Benton Street, under the viaduct, east on Industrial Park Road and into the fairgrounds through Gate A.

Want to be part of the Fair fun? The Fair Parade is free to enter. If you want to submit a float for the parade, you can register on our website.

This year’s parade marshal is Kris Kline. Kris is a former Boone County Fair Board Member and President.  He first became a member on the Board in 2001 and retired in 2019. He was President of the Fair Board for 2011-2013 and 2015-2017. Kris lives north of Boone with his wife Melissa. They have two children who were involved in the Boone County Fair, Brady and Ally.

We encourage all members of the community to participate by joining the celebration of our grand entrance to the fairgrounds. The parade is fun for the whole family!

For more information on the Fair Parade, visit our website http://boonecountyfair.weebly.com/fair-parade.html.
