BOONE, Iowa—The Boone Police Department will be taking part in the DEA’s National Drug Take Back event, Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. If you have unused or out dated medications, either prescription or over the counter, and want to have them properly disposed of, plant to take part. Put them in a bag or box and drop them off at the Boone Police Department.
