BOONE, Iowa—Boone Police arrested 25 year old Ricardo Carroll of Des Moines in the early morning hours of New Year’s Day after receiving a report of a suspicious individual in the 1600 block of West Park Avenue. Carroll has been charged with 3rd Degree Burglary, Harassment of Public Officials, Domestic Abuse Assault Impeding Air Flow and Domestic Abuse Assault.  Carroll was also wanted on  warrants from the Des Moines Police Department. In November, Des Moines Police sought the public’s help in locating Carroll following an assault on a woman in south side of Des Moines. The Des Moines warrants include Attempt To Commit Murder (one count), Willful Injury – C Felony (one count) and  Willful Injury – D Felony (two counts). Ricardo was being held in the Boone County Jail.
